    Trigger remap ability for slightly disabled gamers


    Hi there,

    I recently switched from Playstation to Xbox and loved the way as Xbox devs are trying to find solutions for gamers with disabilities. Then I sadly realised that there is no way now to reassign triggers under Accessibility. On PS you can fully remap all buttons including triggers. However on Xbox I could only remap buttons but trigger not. I had a brain tumor 8 years ago, left side of my body paralized temporary for a few weeks. Since then I only have minor remained disability, my left hand's fine motor movement is bad, I cannot do fine movements like typing or pressing buttons. This affects pulling left trigger as well. On PS I used to map left trigger to RB. Once a game did not have controller layout modification I could even use standard layout as I already remapped LT to RB. On Xbox I encountered this with Quantum Break and Dead Space (2008). I think it would not be such a huge development neither in technology nor in dev resource to introduce trigger remap as well. As a QA engineer I would happily test it Trigger remap ability for slightly disabled gamers :)

    Only the triggers are analog. They cannot be remapped because no other buttton has the ability for their function. Dead zones and trigger points are built into game code
