Tried to install Hitman Trilogy from Game Pass, download errored, now can't cancel it

Though Hitman Trilogy is available in Xbox and PC platform. Hitman Trilogy doesn't support cross platform play. You have to either purchase them separately or subscribe to PC Game pass if you want it to play on PC.

Hi thank you for replying. Yes that was included in the trilogy I bought. I just checked my account purchases and it's definitely in there. When I check in the store on xbox it says it's included with game pass and next to that buy to own rather than the usual you own this and if I click buy to own it tells me you already own this. Also in the store under the trilogy where it says in this bundle everything says owned except the hitman 3 access pass: hitman 2 standard but if I click on it and press buy now it tells me I already own it but it just won't install. It lets me try to install maybe because it on game pass but it won't install.

Try this, please:

Launch the Xbox Application on Desktop.

Click on the profile image and navigate to the settings menu.

Head over to the General sub-menu in the Settings menu.

Uncheck the “Use advanced installation and management features” option.

Uninstall the Hitman trilogy client.

Close the Xbox Application either from Taskbar or from the Task Manager.

Re-launch the Xbox Application and re-install the Hitman Trilogy.

Users reported on Reddit that this solved this issue with Hitman Trilogy for them.
