Tried out game pass but gold membership is all I want

I have the same thing. I assume you have to let it completely expire then you can go back to just Gold. If you add a code before it expires, it will extend Ultimate.

Once the trial completely ends (or you cancel it), you can add the 12 month card and get the full 12 months of just gold.

I am looking for a refund of most of my subscription services. I am not on xbox live nor am I on gold. Please kindly refund my hard earned money if you insist on not letting me into the public internet community. Tinder, ps network, ps now, wikipedia,
ancestery, multiple paid services. Please and thank you send me my hard earned hours wasted money back. yours truely [mod removed] on the rogers network

when using game pass for membership it combines the remaining Xbox live gold you currently have with it. So upgrading it will give you what you want. however if you choose to go back to gold after be sure to turn auto renewal off and wait to end of membership
before redeeming more gold, otherwise the gold will be converted to game pass membership, which is less months as game pass membership is more expensive.
