    Tried everything to opt out of the Minecraft Beta on PC - NOTHING works.


    Hi!

    I know this has been rehashed over and over... TLDR, got a new Win 10 desktop. Downloaded Minecraft - keep in mind I never opted IN for the beta, and the Insider app reflects this - Yet I cannot get my computer to install anything BUT that version.

    I uninstalled. Reset the store. Changed my install location. Ran the powershell command. Unlinked the store from other devices. You name it, Ive tried it.

    ANY advice is appreciated - I want back into my realms! As a side note - NO other install of Minecraft on other devices are the beta version. No idea whats going on.

    Have you opted out of the beta in the xbox insiders hub?

    You need to opt out then unistal Minecraft then re install
    I tried, but it didn't work.

    I tried also to wait for some hours but when I reinstalled Minecraft I got the beta.

    Message "You cannot play on multiplayer servers because of how your account is set up" on Minecraft.

    Once you opt out of beta and then uninstall it, you shouldn't be able to install beta without opting back in. You must restart console before installing normal minecraft. Then try installing normal version and see if multiplayer works.

    Cant leave Minecraft Windows 10 beta program even though i'm not in it.

    Opting into and out of beta:
    1. Xbox One and Windows 10 players can opt in and out of the beta from the Xbox Insider Hub app. Please be aware that opting in and out of the beta may affect all user accounts on a shared device*.
    2. Android players can opt in and out from the Minecraft page of the Google Play Store.
    3. Please bear in mind that un-enrolling from the Minecraft Beta can sometimes take up to 24 hours

    cannot get out of minecraft beta on windows 10

    Open "Xbox Insider Hub". There should be a tab where you opt in the Beta. It's the same place you opt out the Beta. Uninstall Minecraft, then reinstall. It should be free.
