tried everything to connect xb1 pad to pc but... nothing is working

What the heck is wrong with the XB1 Controller on PC ??

I have the same issue daily. The -only- way I was able to work around this nuisance was by buying the S pad with Bluetooth. Its really sad cuz after all, that's why there is a wireless reciever for xb1 pads on windows 10. And for whatever reason it - wont
- work. Constantly (and randomly) loses connection with the xb1 and xb1s pad, I tried every troubleshooting solution I could find... nothing. Its ridiculous, srysly. Cuz I love this gamepad... it just wont stay connected :\

Xbox one controller problem

Hey, not sure if this post is allowed here or what, but need some help my controller is not working at all.

The pad died when playing witcher 3, I turned it back on and played another few minutes then it died again. However this time it wouldn't go back on. The pad was low on battery. So I hooked the usb cable up and nothing happened. The pad wouldn't charge or light up. I left it on all night charging and still nothing. I tried batteries but the pad only flashes once. So I thought maybe they were dead and got brand new ones. The same results were achieved. I have spoke to customer support and they told me get a new one.. now I know the pad still works because using batteries and the usb I managed to get it back on. I repeated these results three times, but then forgot how I did it after talking to customer services again. The issues is that the pad won't stay on or even sync via usb. I have tried everything I found online.

I think the battery + usb method isn't working now because my pad turns off when I connect the micro usb..

I used smartglass to try the restart methods and such, nothing is working.
Why does my pad turn off when I connect the micro usb and why does it only try turn on with batteries but only flash once?

I too have this issue. Got the update when Forza Horizon 5 was released on the Xbox One.

Pad worked fine on Xbox but when I tried to use it later in a PC I found the issues.

Although the pad will connect, it doesn't control anything and isn't recognise by the games. Tried on two PC. It also isn't picked up by the Accessories App.

It is 100% this firmeay upgrade, as everything was working before.

PC us up to date, all was ok till I plugged the pad. No message nothing, I restarted everything and still nothing, the pad is just dead !!! Plugged or not to the PC no way to turn it on again!

Having the same problem, been trying all night to connect to Destiny, error pops up and my Pocket Loss is 100%. Which I have read everything and tried everything to fix and nothing is working. Getting tired of messing around with this. Never have problems
on my PC, IPhones , PS3 and PS4 with connections. Plus I have played online with my XB1 but now I can't even play a multiplayer game now. I can connect to xbox live and netflix etc. So hope this can be fixed or let people know how to fix it. Hate to spend
$500 when XB1 came out and only can use it for a paper weight
