  1. Transparent images have black circle around them? (Gamerpics)

It’s a slight annoyance and I'm wondering if there's a fix or something I'm doing wrong? I’m using a transparent PNG as my Xbox gamer pic and it shows the black background everywhere apart from my own Xbox UI where it looks like it should (transparent.)

I’m using the exact same PNG on PlayStation and it’s transparent at all locations - the file is definitely a transparent image.

Any workarounds for this on Xbox?

This game is starting to frustrate me

Black knights are easy to fight one on one. Lure them into an area where you can circle strafe around them. They have very visible attacks, you should be able to see what they're going to do, even if you don't have a good enough shield to block them.

    Arrow icon

A speaker icon in the lobby indicates that the console is picking up sound from the headset.

Can you create a party chat, and check the circle around your Gamerpic, when you unplug the headset and plug it in again?

Do you get a narrow circle border around your Gamerpic with the headset removed, and is the circle wider/thicker when you plug the headset in?

Does the circle get thicker/thinner when you talk and pause talking, or does it stay thick all the time?

If the circle in the party stays thick all the time while your headset is connected, you might have an electrical ground problem, where the headset is humming constantly.

If you talk (or otherwise sound is picked up by the microphone), games will indicate who is talking by having a speaker icon next to their name, or above their character.

Usually, only your team mates will see this indicator, so the enemy team can't see your location, even if you talk to your team mates.

What program could I use to convert an image to 1080 x 1080?
Any graphics program should work as far as I know. Just make a new image 1080 x 1080. Then paste your image into it and resize, etc. till it looks the way you want. Centering can be a bit tricky since MS makes your gamerpic a circle.

I still can’t figure out how to upload photos to my Microsoft to get them onto my Xbox. Can someone walk me step by step and help me?

Hi Bear! I'm Rostom, an Independent Advisor. I will be glad to help you here.

If you're referring to changing your account gamerpic, the easiest way to change it is by using the Xbox app on your mobile phone. If you have one installed, please follow the steps below.

Select your gamerpic icon in the bottom menu on the Xbox app to get to the Profile tab.
Select the edit icon next to your gamerpic at the top of the screen.
    Do either of the following:
To use a gamerpic from the library: Select one of the available images displayed, and then select Save.
To upload a customised gamerpic: Select the photo library icon, and then select a photo from your mobile device. Pinch and drag the circle to crop the photo into the image you want as your gamerpic, and then select Upload.
Note Customised gamerpics are subject to the Xbox Community Standards. Images that violate the standards can result in enforcement action by the Xbox Safety team.
