Transferring Xbox account to another Microsoft account

My Guardian, whose Microsoft account I have used for playing Xbox for the last few years and have made many purchases on, has decided to close his Microsoft account. Is there anything I can do to transfer years of purchases and my account over to my personal account?

oh, and there is no way to transfer dlc, microsoft points, or content licenses from one account to another. in rare cases xbox support may transfer a subscription to another account.

basically ask them to change the alias as above and then you keep the account instead. there is no way to transfer anything.

Hello LOTZE, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

If the account is being closed then it may be easier to just change the primary email address at https://account.microsoft.com. Once you add a new email and set it as Primary you can remove the old email from the account. When the email is removed Microsoft believes that it is no longer wanted and then closes the account.

I'm afraid there is no way to transfer anything from one account to another account. The Xbox Account is linked to the Microsoft account and can not be transferred, same for progress in games etc.

Could you, please, elaborate a bit more on what you mean by transferring Xbox profiles to another Microsoft account?

A Microsoft account is an amalgamation of different services [Xbox, Windows, Bing, Outlook, etc.] and thus these services cannot be merged or transferred to another Microsoft account.
