Transferring Xbox Account from one Microsoft Account to a new Microsoft Account?

Regrettably, it is not possible to re-associate a Gamertag with another Microsoft Account. You can

create an alias, but ultimately, it will still be tied to the original account.

The only solution is to create a new account for yourself, and use that, moving forward.

Unfortunately this isn't possible to do. The only thing that the system will allow you to do is to change the email to a new one within your account.

I have ran into the below issue (which from doing some digging on the internet, seems pretty common):

1) Create Xbox Account when young using parents (or other family member) email address.

2) Now come to realise that you would like to have your Xbox Account disassociated with your family members Microsoft Account, and associated with a Microsoft Account of your own.

I am in this exact boat, except I am the one who is having their Microsoft Account used by a younger family member for their Xbox Account! There use to be a way on Xbox 360 years ago to switch an Xbox Account from one Microsoft Account to another, why
on earth was this feature removed? It is so frustrating having to juggle my own Microsoft Account with an attached Xbox Account which is not mine and I have nothing to do with.

I really don't understand why Microsoft removed this. I have exhausted online chats and forums and there does not seem to be any viable help for an issue that seems reasonable to want to solve.

This problem seems common enough amongst the Microsoft/Xbox user-base, help appreciated.

TLDR; I want to be able to move an Xbox Account from one Microsoft Account to another.

I also have same problem the xbox is in my microsoft account so my autistic grandson xan play games but the medical carers say he needs to be of xbox 20:00 starting on a sunday evening to friday but being sutistic eith behaviour issues i cannot just make
him get of at that time i want my account to shut down xbox at 20:00 pm and stay of u til 15:00 monday to friday allieing him to only have longer friday n saturday evening as its way we keep him calm BUT he. Eeds his special needs education why can i not set
my xbox to switch of and my account and times specified as this is causing the authorities to want to put my grandson in home yet xbox keeps him calm but need to endorce boundaries so he can receive help this why he is on my mirosoft account as he not got

Any digital purchase is bound to the account that purchased it however you can change the primary email of an account.
