transferring subscription to son

Sure you can! Just head to the Microsoft store, search for Game Pass Ultimate and under the option of 'Join' there is another option that says 'By as a gift'. You will be given a code to redeem on your sons account.

A subscription always shows up in the account which made the purchase. If you have more than one Xbox you could set up the Xbox from your son as your home console so you could share your gold subscription with him. You could play on your console even if
you son uses his console. If you only have one Xbox your son could use gold too. There is no function to transfer games or subscriptions from one account to another. Hope that helps.

If I understand this correctly you have bought an xbox live gold subscription under your account but you really wanted it for your son's? If that is the case the subscription cannot be transferred from one account to another. You have to buy the gold with
the account you want it on.

Firstly, does anyone know why this is the case? It seems really odd that this is something Microsoft can't do. Secondly, if I give my son my account how do I transfer my 365 subscription? There's probably other things I don't know about that need transferring also?
