Transferring kids Xbox gamer profile to a new email without losing my login and outlook account

It seems ridiculous to say the only way to get my son's gaming profile off of my email is to create a whole new gaming profile with his own Microsoft account. My son constantly is locking my email and forcing a new password and there's no way for me to remove my email from the account without causing other issues.

Why can't this be a simple email transfer request or profile transfer request? There has to be some way to retain his gaming achievements and profile without me losing my email.

Adding a new email and deleting mine is not an option. I've read plenty of articles stating that you can no longer use the email address after you do that and this is my primary email I use. There has to be other options and if not Microsoft needs to figure out a way to do it.

Its not a simple transfer because your email (which is your Microsoft account) IS the Xbox profile and vice versa. They are all one in the same and all tied together. They are all intertwined.

Unfortunately one of you is going to have to start over if you want things complete separate from each other. (either you with a brand new email or your kid with a brand new xbox account.)

you will need to transfer the gamer profile that already exists on your outlook to a new/different Microsoft account, this will 'remove' your outlook account from a connected gamer profile. Just be sure not to use your windows phone or surface with that
outlook account, because it will auto generate a new gamer profile when non is attached.

I don't think I've done anything on that outlook email with an xbox profile - is it possible to delete the xbox profile for the outlook email and then transfer across?

I discovered that part of the problem is I created accounts for each child with their email address before I setup a family gold account. So when I sign in with their email address it's directing me to accounts that have not ever been used. I would like
to delete those accounts eventually so my kids will be able to associate their email adress with their actual gamer profiles one day. That's a different issue though that I think I need to call XBOX Live support for.

Is it possible for my kids to login to their actual accounts on a computer or through smartglass on their iPods without using my login info?

If you want the gamer tag you can change the Microsoft accounts around. However you will lose all achievements etc from the other account. You'll need to make a new email with Microsoft transfer your old profile to that one then transfer your old email to
the new profile with the desired GamerTag. Otherwise you'll need to change the gamertag on the account with the gamer tag you want then change it to the gamer tag you want on the account you primarily use. Changing your GamerTag costs $10 per switch. So all
