'Transferring' games and progress from one (email)account to another (email)account.

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. He would either need to continue using your account or create his own account and start over.

Hello, Scott 55, as of now there is no possible way to transfer game progress over to another Xbox account. The best thing I would do is give the account to your child, or transfer the email accosiated with this account to a new email. Thank you for understanding.

You mentioned the game Fortnite, I only know this:

if you access to your account from epic games, you can unlink the epic games account from the xbox account and then, that epic account can be linked to another microsoft account / email.

Adding a new email address/alias as a secondary on his Xbox account is only for sign in preferences and this will not transfer any saved data progress or files from one account to another.

I would suggest not to remove the original primary email address on your family member's account as this will permanently delete all of the files and saved data progresses on his Xbox account.

Unfortunately, you can transfer one Xbox Account to another Xbox account. The best thing for you do is to create a new email account for yourself and give his sole access to the account. Then he can change the email associate to the account but you will
have to create a new email account for yourself. Otherwise, if he creates a new email/ Xbox live account he will lose any games and game progression he has on your account.
