Transferring game progress to new email on xbox x

Is your wife's e-mail address an Outlook.com address that is associated with the Microsoft Account that owns the game licenses and data? If so, there's nothing you can do. It's your wife's Microsoft Account and everything associated with it is her property. Game data and licenses cannot be transferred between accounts.

If your wife has no intention of using any other services associated with the Microsoft Account (e.g. Outlook e-mail, Microsoft 365 subscriptions etc.) she may want to give you the password and allow you to take possession of the account, but if she wants to keep it, it is hers to do so.

Otherwise, if your wife's e-mail service is hosted elsewhere (some ISP-provided e-mail, or Gmail, or something else) and it's just a username for the Microsoft Account you can add a new address as an alias, swap the primary address, then remove your wife's e-mail address from the account: her e-mail will continue functioning where ever it is hosted.

Hello, Scott 55, as of now there is no possible way to transfer game progress over to another Xbox account. The best thing I would do is give the account to your child, or transfer the email accosiated with this account to a new email. Thank you for understanding.

Game progress can't be transferred, unless they keep using the same email, or they add a new email to add to this account (won't be the best as will be the same as keeping this account )

On the EA website it says progress can transfer over between console families, just not cross-platform. Therefore, progress should transfer between Xbox One and Series X like other games.
