    Transferring game files from xbox to computer


    Hi. I have been wanting to move Star Wars: Battlefront 2 to my computer because it takes up too much space on my xbox one, but I am obviously given fresh new files on my computer. So I had an idea to transfer the game files from my xbox one to my computer (via usb or other ways) and I have yet to try it. Would this be a viable solution? I really want to take advantage of my computer's power and good graphics/frames but I don't want to restart as I am about to reach level 100 on my xbox one. Could someone tell me how to properly do this if even possible? Thank you.

    You would have to purchase it on pc.as it's not an play anywhere title.and no xbox files arent readable by pc

    And it would be upto the developer to support cross saves

    Hi there Vanessa welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Unfortunately, this isn't possible, you could move the game to a USB drive or an External Hard Drive!

    No. Xbox files are not made to be seen via a PC and vice versa without violating the terms of service. Since that game doesn't support cross-saves, you would start the game over on the PC if you play it there too.

    Transfer files to your computer then format USB to Xbox then transfer files back to USB and see if that works.
