Transferring a once dependent Xbox 360 account to it's own account

My dad recently "disassociated" my child Xbox 360 profile from his account. I'm not entirely sure what he did (as he isn't communicating with me about it) and told me to contact Support. Firstly, error code 8007007A would pop up when I would attempt to connect
to the internet. It doesn't do that anymore. Instead, it shows his "security info" (emails and phone number) and asks if I need to make changes. I obviously clicked the "I Don't Have Those" option. It then pulls up a screen saying "Are you sure? If you can't
get messages at: *insert info* your account is at risk. Please update immediately or you may lose access to your account. Find out more at Xbox.com/lostproofs." It the gives me the options of "Wait, This Works" or "I Fixed This Online." I do not have access
to his account and he is currently serving over seas, so he doesn't have much time to play around on his computer nor does he have service to call Support.

My question is: Can I retrieve my profile with all my achievements and transfer it onto my current Microsoft account? If my gamer tag isn't retrievable, I couldn't care less. However, I've had this account for over 8 years and have tons of game progress
on it. All I'm really worried about is my game progress. Please help!

Just so I don't misunderstand the situation:

You have a child account (with your own email) that was added to your dad's adult parent account in the Microsoft Family, or was your Gamertag connected to your dad's email, and you used your dad's email to sign in on your Xbox 360?

I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you. Unfortunately, your game saves and achievements are tied explicitly to your account(gamertag & internal account ID). If you have the email for this account you can try the following:

What to do if you can’t use any of the password reset options

You can still access your Microsoft account by completing an online account recovery form. Go to
Recover your Microsoft account.

In the Contact email address text box, enter a current email address where we can contact you or send your password reset link.
In the third text box, type the characters displayed on the screen. This is to verify that you aren’t a robot.
To help maintain the security of your Microsoft account, you’ll be prompted for several pieces of identification information that you provided when you initially set up your account. Fill in as many of the boxes as you can.

You can't transfer items among accounts. To change privacy and safety settings of your child account you need a parental account.

On the Xbox 360, you should be able to transfer your licenses back to your own Xbox 360 console.

Sign in to your Xbox Live account on your Xbox 360.
Go to the "Settings" tab.
Select "Account".
Select "Your Billing Options".
You should see "License Transfer". Select that.
Follow any other instructions the system gives you.

NOTE: License transfers can only be performed
once every four months.
