Transferring a Minecraft user between Microsoft accounts.

Hi, around 2011 I purchased Minecraft Java for my son using my own email (this Microsoft account). So naturally when we migrated the Mojang account it got migrated to my personal Microsoft account. Now my son is an adult, and due to safety and privacy reasons we would like to transfer the Minecraft user to my sons own Microsoft account, and was wondering if that was possible?

Unfortunately it is not possible to transfer game licenses or profiles between accounts, there is no function for that, so your child will only be able to play from his own account if he buys the game again, considering that all the progress will remain in the original account (yours).

I asked on the Minecraft support system if I can transfer my Minecraft account to another Microsoft account and they told me I had to ask Microsoft support. All that I found was this community question thing.

If you're more than sure that's the correct account, you can try contacting Mojang support to see if they can see what's going on or what happened with your Minecraft username.

I say this because is not possible to transfer any type of content or specific in-game progress between Microsoft accounts.
