transfer your 360/ ps3 online to one/ps4 online

This is my personal understanding of the limited information rockstar has provided ontheir website. First they must release the update that allows this. Second or first depending on when you want to do this. You must link your gamertag to rockstars social
club site and probably link your crossbrand gamertag if your switching PS/Xbox. Third you must get on your old Gen console and use the one time ablitity to save your online account onto rockstars server. Fourth you must recover your profile on your new Gen.
The reason I'm putting this on here is because of #3 I don't think this is common knowledge. If anyone has minecraft though I believe this to be basically the exact same tactic. Hope everyone can still transfer there online. You will see this level 160+ roaming
the gta worlds. Enjoy

GTA 5 saved content from PS3

You can do a one-time transfer of all your GTA Online activities from any last-gen console to any current-gen platform. In other words:

Xbox 360 or PS3 ---> Xbox One or PS4
or PC

I've played the game on both PS3 and 360. But my PS3 version is a collector's edition copy, and has a lot more play time. Hope I won't have any issues transferring over to my Xbox One copy.

 

Well I reread rockstars site and it would seem you don't need to have the old Gen game anymore... please post here to let me know how well this is working or not working.

 

This is annoying...getting the Syncing message when I load it up but continually fails, and I played my 360 version just last month so not sure why I'm experiencing this issue.
