    Transfer XBOX data to new account?


    A few years ago when I bought my Xbox I used my school Microsoft account for Live. Now that I've graduated, the school will probably be deleting my Microsoft account sometime soon. Is there anyway to transfer my Live data to a new Microsoft account so I don't lose all the stuff I paid for/game progress?

    It depends on whether or not they put the game on the new xbox and if they developers allow the data to transfer to the new consoles version but all data is connected to account.

    I know I'm not getting the account back, but surely there must be a way to just transfer the data to my new Microsoft account right? The account itself is not what matters, it's the data (which includes the account I've had for a decade). Is it possible to get that data transferred to my new account?

    A heads up, even with using the data transfer cable you will need to log into the account on the new xbox and do a license transfer and "redownload the data", truthfully it just update what xbox has the rights to play that content.

    I have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and I was supposed to get a Forza Horizon 4 token, and I checked my messages, and I never got anything. Am I doing something wrong here?

    I had all of the dlcs on a different xbox but on the same account. It didn't transfer the data to my new xbox.
