    Transfer xbox 360 out of my microsoft account


    6 years ago I set up my nephew's xbox 360 under my microsoft account. I now use my account for work and have everything connected to it. I want my nephew to get his own account and move his xbox info to his own account!. How do we do that?

    Really upset at how difficult it is to change the email on my gamertag.

    Hey DrAgOn,

    The instructions posted are for the 360 console. At the present time, the Xbox One can not change the Microsoft accounts associated with the gamertags, and as fred said, the gold subscription will follow the gamertag.

    Also on a side note, the instructions are a little out of date.

    ◾When you change your Microsoft account, your Microsoft Points are automatically transferred to the new Microsoft account.

    Points are now currency, and currency will not transfer with you. You will need to spend the currency before you are able to make the transfer.

    The only way to currently transfer a gamertag to a different microsoft account is on the Xbox 360. My advice would be to download your profile on a 360 console, either your own (if you have one) or a friends and then make the transfer using

    THIS     guide.
