    Hi I set up an x box account using my email for my young child years ago. Now I would like to set up a family account using my email, add my child's email and transfer all the games etc to his email account/user name etc. How do I do that without losing the money I have spent on games.

    You can create a new child account for him, but nothing can be transferred between accounts. So any progress and games would still be tied to your account.

    I have exactly the same issue. Created the adult account, and the child account underneath, but the packs including the vbucks etc are on the adult account. The X-Box is for the child, so why would the adult want the packs?

    There must be a way to disable the claim and move it to a different account??

    Normally it isn't.

    Try phoning support for your region & they may remove the remaining gold from your account & give you credit which can then be used to get golf for your sons account

    on this one,

    They just might be able to give you a token and transfer the gold membership to your "Childs Account" if you have recently purchased the gold membership within 24 hours or more.

    The best thing to do is contact support and speak with a Support agent,
