    Transfer Vbucks in my Xbox account to family member under same account


    How do I transfer the V-bucks I just redeemed on Xbox from my son's B-day to his Xbox account? It makes no sense that only I can redeem them because it's my account (and my credit card), but then only I can use the V-bucks. How do does this nightmare get fixed?

    Once you redeem a code under a certain account it belongs to it which is why if you wish for your son to have ownership of it you will need to be careful and make sure to redeem the code under his account. You can also purchase them as gifts if you wish to have the payment instrument under your account only.

    I have the same issue. Money transferred to my son's account more than 24 hours ago. It appears on the family portal (showing under his account name), but it does not appear on the Xbox when he wants to purchase VBucks. Please advise.

    Hi! Any luck with this? I'm facing the exact same problem. I added money via PayPal, the transaction is confirmed, but the funds are not present on the Xbox account.

    It seems (for some reason) it takes 24 hrs to add the funds to the account.

    Unfortunately it is not possible to make transfers between accounts, you must add the Vbuck's individually in each account. This is invariable if they belong to a family Microsoft account
