Transfer of game accomplishments

My son has been playing for two years on Xbox One using my gamer tag, even though he has his own. I want him to use his own gamer tag so that I can set screen time limits but this would mean he would have to start from scratch with all of his games. Any
suggestions on a solution?

I have contacted Microsoft and keep getting led down rabbit holes that don't work.

How do I transfer my Black Ops III accomplishments, level and unlocks from Xbox 360 to Xbox One? I have tried to save the game profile to the cloud while playing on the Xbox 360 and it will not transfer to the Xbox One. I'm open to any and all ideas. I would
appreciate step by step solutions. Thanks

I dont understand the purpose of not allowing him to transfer his info? This is years of his info/accomplishments that will be lost.

Western digital now makes ones that are slightly cheaper. You can play Xbox One games from USB, but no Series games. They must be played from the internal storage or the external card.
