    Transfer game save data to another gamer tag


    Hey! I got the new Hogwarts game and played a ton on it before realizing I was playing on my boyfriends account/gamertag. Is there a way to move that game save data to my account/gamertag? We have 2 Xboxes at our place so he can play his games and I can play my games at the same time. Now we can’t play at the same time if I want to keep building on my Hogwarts progress… Any ideas?

    There is no way to transfer games save data from one account to another because save data is associated with gamer tag

    Yeah, I get that but is it possible for data transfers to another gamer tag and honestly my gamer tag name is unfavorable to me now.

    you should be able to recover you Gamer tag to you new box it will just be you gamer tag not you saved game data you will need a transfer kit or a flash drive for that bit you could also save your GT to a flash drive and move it that way

    Licence transfer is from console to console, not from game tag to gamer tag, and it is not possible to transfer licences to another profile
