Transfer Game data from computer to HDD

Hi Everyone.

The situation is as follows;

I have an old xbox 360 arcade with a 60GB HDD. I wanted to transfer the data from that HDD onto my new xbox 360 slim with 350GB HDD

By using the transfer cable, the system did not prompt me to transfer the data over. I then made the mistake to go into my system settings and formatt my 60GB HDD and deleted all the content on my HDD.

In my haste I found a program called FATXplorer which allowed me to restore all my saved Game data onto my laptop computer. It is now currently in a folder on my laptop.

In the process somehow the security sector for my 60GB HDD has been deleted and the HDD is no longer recognised by my xbox 360 arcade. It is still recognised by Xbox 360 slim, but only as an unformatted memory unit.

If I formatt it, it is recognised as an external memory unit, however this in tern wipes the 60GB HDD, back to square one.

If I restore previous version of the 60GB HDD using FATXplorer and install a 60GB security sector .BIN file, the Hardrive is theoretically restored to its original version. Bt is still only recognised as unformatted.

I have made my peace that my 60GB HDD is most likely scrap at this point. However I still have all the important saved game data! Can someone please, please. Just tell me how I can get this data from my laptop onto my Xbox 360 Slim.

I am not concerned about map packs etc. I just want the saved game data from my youth.

Whatever advice is helpful at this stage. Thank you.

Rediculous! I have spent enough time and money invested in microsoft through love for Gaming. Having my saves back would continue this investment! Forget it, I will figure it out.

Not even if I was to isolate the game save data and transfer it onto a flash drive for the Xbox 360 Slim?

Xbox data is not meant to be seen by a PC and transferred between the two. There is no legit way of moving it back to a hard drive so it can be seen by the Xbox.

The only way to be able to do so would violate the terms of service and put you at risk for being banned. As such, it cannot be discussed here.

There is far eaisee ways and legal too

One if you mobe modified files.you will.be in violation of the terms of.use.even sony will.ban on such moves

They disable achievments fyi when anything is transfered from.computer

You couldve used usb drive but.not your computer
