    Transfer funds from orginizer to member


    My nephew created 2 Microsoft children accounts and his parents accidently funded his secondary account (gmail) with £25. Although he could use this he really needs the funds in his primary account (outlook) where all his games/profiles and friends are.

    After a hour on chat this evening and being told all I needed to do was change the secondary account (gmail) to an adult profile, make it an originator and then make his primary account (outlook) a member of his family that I would be able to add the funds this way.

    Well no luck there, the accounts are all changed and working as they should but when you try to add funds to the outlook (member) account the only options I have are credit/debit card or paypal, there are no options to transfer money from the gmail (originator) account.

    Since the money has already been assigned to the account, there is not a way to transfer it to another one. However, you can try to sign in with that account and use the money in order to buy the item you want and send as a gift to the correct account.

    You cannot transfer a balance from one account to another. You can gift new funds to a family member but not funds already on an account. I have this same issue and found a forum response explaining it.

    Hi, purchases have to be from the same region they are to be used in. The only option I could think of, is if you have a family member in Pakistan that you could transfer funds to and they purchase the gift card for you.

    No. It's not possible to transfer funds from Google Play into a Microsoft account.
