Transfer character/ Questions/ Rockstar neglect

Don't know if anyone else has posted problems like this but here goes.

So I've bought myself an Xbox One, still play on the 360. So when it came time to transfer my GTA character over to the Xbox One i did without hesitation. No problem there.

Still I've got my character on the 360 too, and play with my friends there (as i'm sure we all do).

But i noticed that when i ranked up my character on the 360 it doesn't sync up with my character on the Xbox One, even though i'm still linked in by the Rockstar Social Club. This some how doesn't make sense.

If i'm playing "MY' character on the 360 what make "MY' character different to the Xbox One? My only thought would be the platforms. Not the game play.

So i thought something had gone wrong with the Rockstar cloud server or the syncing etc, hence i deleted my character from the Xbox One.

To my horror when i try again and transfer "MY" character to the Xbox One I couldn't!!

WHY WHY ??? Can't I??

I'm sure many of us have done the same, yet Rockstar continue not to budge on this topic. I've sent email after email asking assistance with this problem to no avail.

As a gamer/consumer i'm feeling robbed and ripped off.

I ask that anyone else that had the same problem to post. And hopefully we can make Rockstar take note.

That would probably be a question for Rockstar. If i read their info right, it's tied to the gamer tag. Transfer the character and then change your tag.

Rockstar support is pretty good helping with xfer issues. They fixed mine w/o much fuss when there was a 20 lvl difference.

 

When you 1st transferred your character everything was moved over to x box one. Call it a copy. You can't add onto a copy. Thats why your levels and money wouldn't update between systems. You only get 1 transfer. It was correct and you shouldnt have deleted
it. Your only option is to call rockstar (look up their number online), tell them what happened, and ask for a "rollback".
