Transfer $5 credit to son's account, in my family account on

I have redeemed a $5 XBox gift card.

Now I cannot find the code to be entered on the XBox so game can be purchased by my son.

There is $5 credit showing in my account and I want to transfer it to my son's account so he can use it on XBox.

Tried that already. It will not process the payment.

Go to settings in your account and go add family add the person who will give you the 5 credits and then you will have to go to the other person's email to accept their invitation and then return to see your family there will appear add money gives
you there and so the money is given if another question goes support Xbox

I already have him in my family account. I want to transfer MY balance to HIS account so he can use it as credit towards an XBox game.

It is my account that has the credit, and my son's account that I want it to go to. He is already in my family group on Microsoft Families.

And I cannot place money in his account. We have checked the permissions and all is set correctly.

On their site it says an account balance and gift cards are not transferable.
