Totally forget the email account linked to this gamer tag

So, months ago I give my console to a friend as a gift. He and his little brother create a new Xbox Account and I decide to give my bank account to activate Xbox Gold for the first two months. Now we want to cancel the Gold but, suddenly when they try to
log in days ago, the account on the console disappears and they do not know which email was linked with the gamer tag, which we remember.

Please help!

Yes, I contact an agent via chat and the person was very comprehensive and helpful. After I explained the whole problem.

Hi Criosphinx. That's my point exactly! I would love to create a brand new account on my phone but my email is already linked to 's gamer tag. Is it possible to link my existing email to new account and forget about this account completely? Someone
told me I need to change my email and this is one thing I am not willing to do as need my email address to stay the same
