To Chat in this party you must make changes to Network Issue

For issues voice chat issues, we recommend checking the settings in-game as those games have in-game voice settings that need to be turned on. Also, you might need to check you account's privacy settings and make sure that the multiplayer is allowed and parties/ chats are not muted.

• Check that your privacy settings allow communication with everyone. Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy. Select View details & customise > Communication & multiplayer, and then make your changes.
  
• Unmute or unblock the person you’re trying to chat with. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Parties & chats. Select the party to expand the party roster, choose the person you want to unmute, and select Unmute.
  
• Check the party chat volume for each person in your party. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Parties & chats. Select the party to expand the party roster, choose the person you want to check, and then verify that their volume slider is at a level that you can hear. To change the volume level, move left or right using the D-pad or the left thumbstick to adjust the volume slider.
  
• Check that you have joined party chat from within the party window.
  
• See if you’re experiencing network latency or other network issues. To do this, check the detailed network statistics for your network by following the steps in: Network settings on Xbox

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your party chat. There are a few possible reasons why you might not be able to speak in party chat on your account, even if you have no active bans or suspensions. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

- Check your network settings and make sure you have a NAT type of Open or Moderate. If you have a Strict NAT type, you might have problems connecting to other players in party chat. You fail to acknowledge that Party chat IS possible on PSN. Playstation Vita can Party Chat. If what you said was true, and Ram on PS3 wasn't the reason for no party chat, then how is it possible on a device that is part of PSN? They didn't change their
entire network.

Well if your haveing this issue it maybe a ghiltch. Or maybe a network issue however it will tell you if you can't join the party. Make sure your not ban for commucations because that can be the issue as well since it seems to be a related traited. but if
your not then it must be a network issue, make sure you check xbox server alerts and do a connection test.

Thanks a ton for that information, that helps immensely with narrowing this down. Thanks for clarifying the trouble with Rocket League as well, it's connection with party chat issues leads me to believe this is a connection issue and not a software issue.
When you have party chat/disconnection issues have you tried checking your detailed network statistics to see if there is any change?

Can you also clarify what type of network hardware you have your Xbox One connected to? Thank you!
