    as the title says …. I have xbox one x. forza motorsport 7 and wanted to use my thrustmaster t500 rs + pedals + my shifter on forza but it isn't being detected.

    never mind I got to the bottom of the issue..... on live chat with xbox support.

    t500 rs isn't supported on xbox one x!!!!!

    forza motorsport 7 does support it if playing on pc....

    "most powerful console ..EVER!" but doesn't support t500 RS .. lol

    Hi skandalf,

    Thanks for the speedy update.

    If you have already tried all 3 USB ports then the next thing that I suggest trying is a

    soft factory reset    . Select the option to keep my games and apps and have your account login information available as you will need to re-download accounts when you set up your Xbox.

    Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

    hi thanks for reply...

    not first time setup I've had my wheel pedals shifter for years, works fine on pc.

    yes it connects using usb. and NO power cycling doesn't work either.

    Hi skandalf,

    I'm sorry to hear your driving setup isn't being detected. Have you been able to use it before or is it a first time set-up?

    Does it connect using USB to the console? If so, have you tried all of the USB ports?

    If you haven't done so I recommend trying a
    hard reset and power cycle     to the Xbox.

    Try that out and let us know any updates.

    Researching about the problem it seems is related to progress.

    Have you tried these steps?

    1. Reset the App in Windows Settings/Apps/FM7/Advanced Options

    2. Start the Game

    3. Cancel the Sync

    4. Go through the starting sequence

    5. Quit FM7

    6. Start FM7
