Titanfall Xbox One Bundle....

I Bought an Xbox One a week ago for sole reason of playing Titanfall, I had received a beta code and bought the Xbox One on Feb 17). Just a few days later the Titanfall Xbox One bundle was announced, I felt stabbed... Microsoft could had announced the bundle
prior to beta testing and I paid the same retail price as the announced bundle $499. I tried returning the console to the retailer but they refused since it was already opened. All I want is to get a copy of Titanfall game if possible (digital code or physical)
or some compensation. It's only fair since my purchase was done just a few days prior to announcement and retailer won't accept a return. So far all I have gotten from Microsoft/Xbox support team is a 'Deal with It' attitude after contacting them various times.

Titanfall Bundle leaves early adopters wallets hurting.. HELP!

When the xbox one released it had day one bundles which included FIFA14 and Forza Bundles which included Forza5, now that titanfall is out titanfall is being bundled with the xbox one.

Titanfall could not be bundled at launch because it was not finished yet.

TLDR; Bundles change all the time, stop having a false sense of entitlement

 

Xbox One Titanfall Bundle 2 Version

Based on the youtube unboxing videos, there are two versions of Xbox One Titanfall bundle. The first version is "cover slip", in which Microsoft puts a Titanfall cover slip over a "standard green box" Xbox one console. Apparently, Microsoft opened the standard xbox
one retail box and put in the Titanfall full game download card and the 1 month of xbox live membership. Then, Microsoft resealed th package with a Titanfall coverslip. The second version of Xbox one Titanfall bundle is the "black box" cover. The entire retail
box is brand new, not "resealed". I preordered my xbox one Titanfall bundle from Microsoft store. If they sent me the "repackaged" version of the XBOX One Titanfall, I'm going to definitely return it and try to get the new version. Did anybody else get the
Xbox one Titanfall Bundle? Which version did you get and where did you get it?

 

Honestly, I know that it sucks that it has happened and I empathise with you, however there is absolutely no way that you will get compensation from either your retailer or Microsoft. You concluded a legally binding trade deal which thus far has not been
broken either by a faulty product or a mis-sold item - your timing was unfortunate, but sadly, that is how the cookie crumbles. I work in retail, I know how this works and Microsoft nor your retailer are obliged to compensate you nor are in breach of contract.
I'm not trying to harshly blunt, this is just the realism of the situation.

 

totally agree with Minimooo on this - if you had purchased it online then you may have been able to return under DSR if in UK (not sure about other countries) but you only can do so within short period of time.
