Titanfall purchase & no game!

Hi, I just bought Titanfall for the marketplace.

But I can't seem to download it on my Xbox 360.

I just wasted 30 mins chatting to an adviser who suggested that the problem might be my console.

But the problem is that I am still being charged for the game on my console and cannot download it.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Please no buy/ pay for the game again responses; [we're not all pampered princesses].

Mine is looking likely to be Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5. I also want Titanfall, Minecraft & BF4.

I see Killer Instinct is a free to play download only game with loads of in game purchases.

log in at xbox.com and go to this page:

marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802454109d0

if you successfully purchased the game, then it should say "already purchased" rather than the price. if this is the case, then make sure you are signed into the same gamertag on your xbox and connected to xbox live. it's supposed to start downloading
automatically, but sometimes it does not. if not, go to the game's page on the marketplace on 360. if you already had it installed it will say Play Now, if it knows you already purchased it, it should say Download Again. sometimes it won't detect the license
and say Buy Now. if you click Buy Now (don't worry it will not charge you again just for that), then it should come up to another page where is lists your payment options. when it loads that it SHOULD notice that you already bought it and say Download Again
FREE.

if none of that works then it seems like it didn't register your purchase. another thing to check is go to your download/purchase history. that should be listed there, i believe it's normally sorted with the most recent purchase first. if you can't find
any evidence through xbox that you bought it, you'll probably have to get a copy of your credit card receipt, or the email they send you when you buy stuff, and prove to MS that you paid for it.

Have you tried signing into the account you bought it on, then going to the game page and look for a download button?

My friend seems to think that I bought the Xbox One version.

I have no option to download it onto the 360

When I use that link it requests my payment options and does not say download again it just states the price.

if you call microsoft and tell them there was a mix up they should refund you. i have heard it said that they can only approve you for one purchase ever, but i have also heard them bend that rules at times. i would just explain it was a mistake and tell
them you're just going to turn around and buy the 360 version. if they try to deny you, just ask to talk to a supervisor, they usually have more authority to override standard policies.

 

Sorry to hear it. If you accidentally purchased the wrong version of the game then please give phone support a call. They can issue you a refund which you can then use to purchase the 360 version. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

If they give you a credit to your account then don't use the website to purchase the game but, instead, use the console to ensure you get the proper version.

 

I called up customer services.

The issue was quickly resolved.

Customer service was 10 out of 10.

I now have Titanfall Deluxe Edition for the 360.
