Timed updates

Discus and support Timed updates in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hello. Am I missing something?     Timed updates


    Hello. Am I missing something? Or is there no option for the series x to update games and apps at a scheduled time?(like 2AM).

    Games are getting pretty large updates. I'm sure I'm not the only person with limited bandwidth. Don't want the updates to drag down the speed during peak times.

    I think I had this problem a few nights ago, I looked up the status of Xbox live and it was under maintenance, well, certain aspects of it were. Have you tried clearing your system cache?

    Update times

    Unfortunately there is no way to change the update times.Your best bet would be to have the console set to instant-on or frequently check the system settings to see if you have an update waiting.

    Unfortunately there is no option to set a specific time.

    If carbon intensity data is available in your area, the console will perform the updates at night at a time when it can use the most renewable energy.

    Otherwise, the maintenance window for checking for updates is a random time between 2 and 6AM, so your console would check for updates once per night during that period.

    Put your console into "instant on" mode in the power settings & keep an eye on the preview forums for update announcements so you know when to expect them.
