    Time to change to PlayStation??? Xbox Error code 0x8B05000F


    I am trying to run a compulsory Xbox One update but keep getting error code "There was a problem with the update" 0x8B05000F. I have searched online and come across what appears to be thousands of others who have the same issue. I have tried a reset (via
    holding down the power button & unplugging the power cord) as well as a factory reset but still no luck. I'm hoping someone out there may be able to suggest a fix. I'm very dissappointed with Microsoft right now. I'm in Australia & it appears it's impossible
    to contact them, as all attempts to follow their "support" links take me back to the same unhelpful web page.

    Thanks Geth, I had tried that but NOPE according to that link the error code doesn't exist.

    It seems you lost power or internet during an updatw and now is causing all that trouble you can fix this easy by doing a soft factory reset and try the update again of thats the case you are all set ... quick reminder there is a lot o blue screens filled
    with errors on the other boat (PS4) in case you didnt know that it is just part of it...

    Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention here on the forums. I understand you're having trouble with a system update. If it gave you an error code then you can select a tile that says Troubleshoot and you can soft factory reset your Xbox from
    there.

    If it says there was a problem with the update, then there usually is an internet connection issue.
