Time taking to solve longer then actual time taken

Hi this is kind of trivial I'm sure but trying to figure out why if it takes 1 hour and 14 minutes to complete a challenge why does it say it took over 11 hours? You can not walk away from the game while you deal with real world issue's?

I feel that is kinda of mean in a way as you don't always have a chance to finish the game in 1 sitting, I do care and I don't but just curious as to why they do it this way.

Taking a long time

Actually it mostly depends from the speed of your net connection. Although sometimes impending updates might cause delay and you will have to clear your console cache like this:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

 

Taking a long time

Pardon if this has been asked before, but I'm new, only had the console a week or so. Is it
normal for a routine update or a game installation to take many, many hours, even days, to complete? This happens even when I'm installing directly from a disc that I bought. Is there something wrong, or has a need for patience just been designed into
the product?

My major complaint. I have kids I have to tend to and there is no pause mechanism; how inconvenient. I agree with your point of view!
