Time in Microsoft Solitaire Events

How can I do to pause time while playing Events, whenever I interrupt the game for any reason ?

Microsoft Solitaire Collection Event Time

I was kicked out of the Event for 4/27/18 in the middle of a challenge and could not get back in until much later. However, the time between when I was kicked out and when I was able to log in again counted against my time in the event. I don't think that
is very fair! The fact that your system kicked me out, through no fault of mine, penalized me and my time. I would appreciate it if this was fixed!

 

Solitaire event timer

The timer on the "Solitaire World Tour" has an error counting the time it took me to finish the event. It says that it took me "10:46:51" to finish the event, while it took me less than 2 hours. I think it counted the time from the beginning of the event
until I finished it, rather than the time it took me to finish the challenges.

 

You can't pause it. Furthermore, the clock keeps running even when you're not playing. I completed 26 of 27 challenges in 1:15 this evening. Then I had to go out to dinner. I exited the Event and the quit Solitaire and slept my Windows 10 PC. I came
back and the Leaderboard still said 1:15. But then I played the final challenge in under 3 minutes, and Solitaire added in the time when I was away along with the time for the final challenge. Final Leaderboard time: 3:53 :-o

I and others have been complaining about this issue for months, and Microsoft hasn't done a !@#$%^&* thing. Having worked in the tech industry myself for years, the attitude they show toward their users was often summarized as "We're
