First rule of business is profit unfortunately. Otherwise you don't have a business. That's common sense, a rarity in a forum! My Xbox disk tray opens, my games load, and I play them. As long as that keeps happening its fine. Seems like you have a personal
vendetta against Microsoft Wilko, but no matter how hard you try to make people dislike them you are but a drop in the ocean. When Sony, Nintendo, Steam or anyone else really really batters them in the console wars, then and only then will they think 'S**t,
we need to do something different' Until then, play your PS3

Well it was time for change for me, i just sold my Xbox and bought a PS3.

Steam is making the push toward Linux for PC games. Microsoft is going to be in huge trouble on Linux becomes mainstream for PC gaming. And remember it was games that sold the 360 not it being a media player. Pushing media over games on the next Xbox is
just asking for failure.

I think some of you need to wait it out to see what they have in store for us when the next Xbox is revealed. Unless of course complaining on Xbox.com will somehow make a world of difference.

I've been using the Xbox 360 since 2005, almost every day since then.

It got to the point where I no longer watch cable television because it's so much better getting the content through the Xbox (or just stealing like most others do).

But besides the few entertainment apps I use (Xbox Video, Netflix, Youtube) everything else has been non stop gaming since Day 1.

I really can care less if it was an exclusive or not, if the games are fun & all works just fine using XBL & playing with my friends, that's all I care about.

We all have our own views & opinions on things, I consider myself a core gamer by how much I spend (money & time) gaming. The Xbox brand has not let me down, at least not to the point where I need another console for my gaming needs.

A few reasons I use the Xbox, 1) MY community of friends. 2) Controller (I don't care if I can use it on other consoles, revert back to #1) & 3) Halo & Gears of War (Just so happens that those 2 franchises are more fun with my friends than any Nintendo
or Sony game out there & still reverts back to #1 for all 3rd Party titles).

IF I had no friends I enjoyed playing with on XBL AND there was no games I want to play that are on the Xbox, I could easily see myself finding another alternative.

SO, until the day my Friends List is completely Offline & I have no backlog of hundreds of games to play, I won't easily say that MS failed the Xbox.

yeah true .. i remember the Only On Xbox branding ... hopefully the first party lineup gets distinguished somehow and also boosted.
