Thumb pad sticking up on controllers

Hi

I have 3 controllers for my series S

One that came with the unit & two purchased from jbhi.

The right thumb control stick stays in the up position when pushed until you push it back down.

Is this a setting somewhere or a design fault because all three of my controllers do it despite very different usage levels.

There're all under warranty but why do 3 controllers have the same fault?

Am I the only person having this problem or is it a common issue?

Do the replacements come with a new warranty or the balance of the original warranty? Eventually any replacement controllers won’t be under warranty if the fault is ongoing.

How do I use my console while waiting for new controllers as the old ones are required to be sent back first?

So many questions.

I'm not sure why the have similar issue. No, I haven't seen this problem before.

The replacement inherits the warranty of the controller you have. It doesn't come with its own.

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to the last question and yes, you'll need to send in yours to get the replacement

Ok, so I finally have everything set up, except one thing- I have the thumb stick joystick adapter plugged into the left usb port of the pad. The controller functions as it should, except when I click the adaptive thumb stick, it does not function to
click the left thumb stick, which it controls. Is there a way to do this, or must I find another way to click the left thumb stick?

Superglue my own thumb stick, sounds risky. Just keep sending back for replacement by MS. Eventually they will fix this and you will get XB1 controller v2 with fixed sticks...finger crossed. Of my two pads, one has loose left thumb stick and the other
has loose right thumb stick /sigh.
