Throttle response in Xbox Gamepass in MSFS

I have two installs of MSFS; one in Steam and one on Xbox Gamepass on my PC. I also have a Winwing Orion 2 HOTAS. This HOTAS works great on the Steam install. On the Xbox GP install it has a weird throttle issue. The throttle in the sim doesn’t start moving until my HOTAS is at almost half throttle, and then it doesn’t seem to go all the way to 100%. Now, in the control setup under power management/throttle, the little white slider bars move exactly with the throttle like they should. But in the aircraft, any aircraft, the throttle and the engine don’t respond as they should. The controls are set up exactly like the controls in the Steam install as far as input and sensitivity. The Steam install works fine. Obviously my HOTAS works fine in other sims. I have no idea why this is happening. Unfortunately I don’t have any other flight sims on the Xbox GP. But it makes the sim very difficult to control.

Can you provide me with information about the Gamepass cache or MSFS taking up space after the uninstall specifically please?

Thanks for the response. I opened up these ports on my router but for some reason my upload speed is being throttled at 8mbs… I have no idea why.

Going to add to this. Having the issue on MSFS 2020 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gamepass games. Same error code, reinstalling does not fix it. Tried repairing the windows store and reinstalling game services to no avail.

We are all being throttled by all the servers right now. Best is to download at night or early morning. If you get above 5mb/s then you are doing well. Hang in there. Use an alternative download manager app like Gamepass if you can.
