This weird position I always get myself into.

I was wondering if anyone has ever put themselves into this position.

Have you ever purchased a game to play, play it once, then go back to another game and keep telling yourself "I should really play that game", while playing a different game?

I bought Battlefield 4 because I wanted to see if they could redeem themselves after the disaster that was Battlefield 3, and I played through the single player. I've yet to touch the multiplayer, and thats what I bought it for. It's been over a month since
I've gotten it, and I keep looking at it on the shelf. This is not your average every day backlog, this is mentally forced backlog.

I don't know, maybe Battlefield 3 just makes me not want to play it mentally.

Where are the Arcade that I bought on 360?

Doesn't the Hand of the King always die or get fired? I'm not sure I'd want that position myself...

If there was a fire, I'm in luck because each of my consoles is next to a window - I'd just toss it outside into the soft dirt and follow suit.

clearing the cache of your Web Browser and try again?

Why would you buy this game? Did you not know that investors are suing EA for delivering a game so utterly broken it will need months of patches and costing hundreds of thousands of dollars more in manpower just to get this game working acceptably? You really
should research before you buy.

 

I know it has a fair amount of issues, my problems with Battlefield 3 was never with bugs or glitches, it was with gameplay. Battlefield Bad Company 2 was the best first person shooter I have ever played hands down. Battlefield 3 was the worst first person
shooter I've ever played hands down. I'm giving them another chance. This thread is not about battlefield.

 

It happens to me all the time. That is why I only play on game at a time. If I started playing a game I would be thinking of the other game I have. I've always done that. I play 1 game until I am 100% sure I'm finished with it.

 

My backlog seems to grow with every decent sale I'm just now playing through the first Final Fantasy 13. I am at least a thousand hours deep in games I intended to get around to......

[/quote]I try to do that, but like Kaos said, you can't resist sales to buy games you already want in your backlog! Not to mention GwG throws free games in your face!

 

I've acquired quite a backlog with all the Games with Gold stuff - haven't played any of them with the exception of maybe Assassin's Creed 2. There's also one time that I bought the first Gen 7 Prince of Persia game and what happened was that I played it
once, got bored, tried to come back to it 3 years later, still bores the life out of me and it's on my backlog.

 

I used to do that all the time. Now that I have an Xbox One I'm going to try and play one game at a time. So far so good, but we'll see how long that lasts.

 

I'm currently doing this with State of Decay and I actually did put it on the other day, but only to find that my saves had been deleted after the new update. So that's basically put me back at square one, but I'm going to do it soon I swear!

 

I expected contortionism, but yes. I had a few games to beat, but after playing a little of each, I lost interest, and decided to sell them.

I did manage to beat BF4 once without losing all my progress, but the MP I couldn't get into. I actually regret not getting Ghosts instead.

 

My backlog keeps growing and I cry.

 

a dozen times over, i've done this. just on the 360, just with physical copies, i've got 13 games i have not yet finished. digitally, again just for the 360, that number doubles at least. i'm a little better with the ps3 retail, but it's still pretty bad
on the digital side of things...i might have half of my total game library unfinished in some form or function, which as it stands now is not an insignificant amount, and i keep getting more and more every month with ps+ and gwg.

 

It's not necessarily finishing games I'm worried about, it's getting to play them online before the community is dead.
