This whole thing just seems like a bunch of workout videos... Where's Your Shape for the next generation... I loved the Pilates / Yoga type stuff and how the Kinect would watch your posture for you.

Xbox Fitness Internet Connection Errors Every Time

Please, please, please add the option to cache workout videos. I'm not looking for an "offline" mode. I'll still happily log into xbox live in order to start the workout, but it is completely unacceptable for whatever reason to have your video buffering
or crashing mid-workout due to a network problem, no matter what the cause.

This is doubly unacceptable when I have paid for the workout video! Please make this your top priority!

Xbox one fitness app videos completely freezing

Just run into an issue where the workouts will completely freeze and not unfreeze at all. I've had videos buffer before but normally they will continue after I pause it for abit and unpause. But this issue does not seem to any signs of buffering, just a
constantly frozen video where I can't end the workout or skip anywhere between it. I can end the workout without any progress though so the app still functions. The issue seems to have started since the last fitness update because I've used the app daily for
over a month without this happening before. On the beachbody fullbody workout it has happened two days in a row possibly at the same place in the video (the toe dip part where you push forward from the back leg in a dip then up down and raise the arms and
repeat(after cyclone?) roundabout the 7min mark with 3 mins left). But it has happened on other videos too. I will try again tomorrow and if it persists I will see if it happens in the same spots on the videos.

I'd also like to make a suggestion - add to the options what internet speed or video quality we want to buffer (it seems like the app auto adjusts based on speed and that sometimes ends with video buffer because of inconsistencies). This would also help
give users certain bandwidth control. Otherwise let us download all the workouts so that less data needs to be sent between the networks.

Would be nice if the issue resolves itself but I thought I'd mention it since it has put a halt on my progress. Love xb1 and the fitness app! Thanks a bunch microsoft and teams.

I had this problem first during a P90X workout when it kicked in about halfway through the workout. It seems from reading everyone's experience it happens around the 20 minute mark of most of the videos.

So today I tried one of the 10 minute workouts to see if I could complete it without the issue and it worked. I was able to get through 1 full 10 minute workout without any lag.

Then I tried doing a 2nd 10 minute workout and the lag started at about the 5 minute mark and continued to the end. It seems that no matter what the lag will start after about 15-20 minutes of your workouts no matter whether it's in 1 longer workout or
2 shorter workouts.

The workouts are streamed each time you start them. Even though you workout was already begun, it probably only saves a few seconds in advance. When your internect connection drops for anything longer than those few seconds it has no way to carry on. Although
in my experience there is a 'Try Again' option on these error messages which will pickup the workout from where is was stopped.

But you are right, there is no reason a workout couldn't be downloaded completely and run without needing an internect connection. Connection errors mid-workout completely take you out of your zone and ruin the experience. Xbox Fitness, at least for me,
also seems to have a lot more internet connection related issues than other streaming video issues. I really hope the game will be fixed to a point where these issues are solved. It has great potential, but errors like this would not be acceptible if they
want to do a subscription model.

I'm having the same problem! restarting doesn't fix it. Its very frustrating.
