Hi, yes and yes. Bedrock edition on Windows is commonly known as "Minecraft for windows"
About your last question, yes. Your child can play with people from Xbox, PS, Nintendo Switch and mobile using the Minecraft for windows / Bedrock edition .

As long as the other friend is not using the Java edition, you're good to go. If that's the case your child needs to open the Java edition

I understand that you have an issue accessing or enabling the multiplayer in your Minecraft game wherein the option is greyed out. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

If a member in your family group wants to play multiplayer features in Minecraft, such as Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Realms, an organizer can adjust these settings by using the Xbox Family Settings app.

1. Sign in to the app with an organizer’s Microsoft account, and then do one of the following to get to Settings:
   
   • Select the tile for the member’s account that you want to manage, and then select the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Family screen.
     
   • Select the Settings icon at the bottom of the Family screen, and then select the tile for the member’s account that you want to manage.
     
2. Select Manage Minecraft under Content restrictions.
   
3. If Minecraft is rated above a member’s age limit, enable Allow game play under Enable Minecraft to grant the member an exception to play it.
   
   • Enable Multiplayer to let a member play Minecraft with others online, even if their account settings block them from multiplayer features.
     
   • Enable Clubs to let a member create and join Minecraft Realms servers.

Those who previously purchased a copy of either Java or Bedrock Edition can now play both versions. That means the answer to your question is either Java or Bedrock Edition of Minecraft will be made available to you on both accounts. Just one question before uninstalling it , this solution can restore it in the Minecraft website? so the "purchase Minecraft java edition" will disappear in the website?
