We understand that you are having an issue with your gaming services apps on Xbox. As per description you were prompted a message which says "this message contains unknown content". let's work on this together to sort it out. We will try our very best to find the accurate resolution on your problem.

For us to verify further, we may ask you some details about it? Please answer the following questions and follow some suggested common basic trouble shooting below;

• When did the issue started, any changes that might have cause the issue?
  
• Is this happening on all games that you want to play or to a specific game only?
  
• Please send us the error message/code showing on your screen? Please post a screenshot and conceal any personal information.
  
• Have you updated your PC which include optional update? You may use this kink to do that if you have not done it yet. Windows Update (microsoft.com)
  
• Restart PC and disable Antivirus, antimalware, VPN, proxy and PC optimize
  
• Repair/Reset Microsoft Store and Xbox apps - Repair apps and programs in Windows (microsoft.com)
  
• Consider checking on you NAT if it is always open.
  
• Internet connection must be stable.

We really appreciate for your quick response O0f.

We just want to know if you have tried the suggested update - Windows Update (microsoft.com), Repair apps and programs in Windows (microsoft.com) and get so me ideas from this article - Troubleshoot game issues on Xbox | Xbox Support.

If you have done all of those and still the error persists, then we can try to Update your Game Service by doing the following steps below;

1. https://support.xbox.com/help/Hardware-Network/connect-network/format-flash-drive-to-ntfs-windows
   
2. Reset Windows 10 store & Xbox app
   
   1. Open Settings.
   
   2. Go to Apps -> Apps & features.
   
   3. Look for Microsoft Store/Xbox App and click it on the right side.
   
   4. The advanced options link will appear. Click it
   
   5. Next, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store/Xbox App to the default setting.
   
3. Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:
   
   1. Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
   2. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
   
   Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
   
   3. Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC and try again.
   
4. Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode; this error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Would you please click on this link Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode | Xbox Support. Then scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device

It has been an issue for the entire time i had xbox game bar but im not always sent Ss or captures from friends. It only happens when a friend shares a screenshot or a capture in messages (it works on the regular xbox app) and yes i have. I dont have any antivirus, i always restart my pc I did repair it, NAT?, My connection is stable

I didnt get any pop up error code. the only things that are abnormal is that it says "shared content" "this message contains unknown content"

never does it actually show the clip that was sent or recieved
