    Update Issues

    So I'm a preview member, which every 2 or 3 days in a given week, I have to download 264MB update, this week 8/19 was 263MB and then again turning on XB1 8/21 another 264MB and now tonight 8/23 yet another 264MB. I don't understand what is causing this because
    the system updates fine, it downloads apps and games fine, I'm thinking I no longer want to be a preview member just to see if this is what is causing this.

    I haven't heard anything, but if this is something you'd like to see I'd recommend you suggest it over at
    Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice - the team uses the ideas from that site to see what the community wants in future system updates.

    Sorry but they couldn't just move things from the 360 to the xb1. It's a whole new system they have to make all the features you want from the ground up. That's what the update is for. And yes they will keep updating it I know that's not what you wanted
    to hear but that's the way it is. It would have took years to make it like 360.

If you don't update your console, you won't be able to connect to the Xbox Network. This is required to keep your console stable and secure, as older versions may have bugs and security issues that have been fixed in the latest console software.

    I don't want to console system update anymore.

    You can't.If you want to connect to xbox live & access it's features then you will have to download console & game updates,there's no way around that.

    If you go to "settings"/ "system" & then "updates" & turn on "keep my console up to date" then console updates should download in the background.

    Thanks for this postguys,iv never taken the step with the 360 to move on to a big 7.1 home set up as it just wasnt justifyd,now with the capabilitys of the sound from the xb1,its completely justifyd,could I ask what systems would you recommend?and condsidering
