This is not the way (gaming should be better)

XBox Series S. Not a frequent user but do like to game. Unfortunately every time I log in I'm met with disappointment. Hate that the gaming industry is moving this way. XBox support says to give my gripes here, (that's pretty weird) so here you go:

1 - Forza 7 and other games that are removed from gamepass. The solution is "buy the game" what if I didn't play enough to know that this game would be gone? What is having a disc going to do for me with a console with no disc drive. "Should've got the Series X" - good luck finding one. Gamepass games expire and you pay $15/mo for the pass then they say "hey we're removing the game that'll be $60-70." Really? I can play a game from 1994 or 2001 like I did today, but I can't play one from 2017 (Forza 7)? If their licenses for the cars/manufacturers expired then renew it OR don't offer it online at all. Be clear this game will have an expiration date and the only way you should play it is on a physical disc. Forza is the main reason I got an XBox over a PlayStation.

2 - Games are 30-100GB it takes forever to download. Absolutely crazy. Shouldn't have to turn something on and not be able to play it for 3-8 hours.

3 - Due to the size of games you can fit about 3 games on your standard disc. "Add more storage" is the recommended solution. Dude a 1TB SSD today is $60. Why would I pay $220 for a 1TB SSD that will hold 6 more games. That's not helping much and is outrageously over priced. So what's left? Add an external SSD that you can't even play games off of and you're forced to transfer games back and forth. Such a joke.

4 - Game Cloud/Game Streaming - Takes a long time to load, can't download another game while streaming. Streaming itself is also poor. Quality on a small, slow playing, game like Tropico is poor. Can't rotate the screen without lag or the graphics coming in like an old TV with poor signal.

5 - Constant updates. As stated before I don't play every day. But nearly every time I turn on my XBox I have to update my games or something else. Game updates are 80-100GB for COD? No wonder why people run out of space.

Is this as good as it gets? This is the best experience Microsoft and XBox have to offer? Get a grip, get it together. This is AWFUL. I wouldn't have bought an Xbox at all if I'd have known that I'd be this disappointed.

Just to be clear their solution was to post here and to buy the physical game. So sell my Series S and buy a $700 retail Series X (which you can't find) or get one from a third party for $900 so I can buy a game that only costs $40. GTFOH overall it's been such a poor experience.

EDIT: Honestly just give me a disc where I don't have to download or install anything, the occasional update and an online setup and I'd be happy but that's the opposite of where the gaming industry is heading and it's sad. If this is the new better way then I guess I'm too old for this, good luck to all the people who enjoy frustrating experiences.
