    This is crazy, but I finally got mine working consistently


    I hooked up my xbox one with Directv on Christmas day. Everything worked for 2 weeks and then I got the dreaded problem that everyone has been talking about. I was able to get Directv working by unplugging and plugging in. I had to do this about every time
    I turned on my Xbox one. I have my Xbox one on the bottom shelf of my entertainment rack, so I'd slide it out and tilt it about 20 degrees, so that the front bottom of the xbox one rested on the carpet. I'd then unplug and plug several times until I got it
    working. About a week ago, I decided to just leave it tilted out, so I didn't have to slide the xbox one in and out of the rack. Well, it's been about a week and I haven't lost the signal at all. In this position, it must be putting the hdmi connector in just
    the right angle to keep everything working. This makes me believe that there isn't any software issue but it must be a hardware issue. I had tried 4 different brands of hdmi connectors and it didn't change a thing. Good luck to everyone.

    Mines finally working but its working real crappy, every once in a while it just drops me from live for no reason, it was out for 3 days, finally got it back (kinda)

    Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. It appears you've found a glitch in the system.

    Did you try sending a tweet to @XboxSupport ? That is how I finally got mine fixed. Not sure what they did but it's working now for me.

    That's crazy that you've gotten that many bad ones. I got mine shortly after it released and thankfully have had no issues...it's an amazing controller. I would exchange it until I got a working one.

    EVERY game suddenly wont launch today?

    Finally got mine working, Turned it off, unplugged it from the wall for 10 seconds and plugged it back in. Not sure if that fixed it or if Xbox live got better, but they finally launch..
