This is CoD Day Zero code fail is ridiculous

That's all it's been saying all day.
I paid $480 for the CoD AF Day Zero bundle, and I still haven't been able to START the download which I hear may take up to 18 hours.
And after trying to call (they never did the callback) and post messages like this, and sending help tweets, I've gotten nothing. It's hard to think I haven't just been ripped off.
Can I get a refund? Partial refund? Anything? Nobody is doing anything. This is BS.

Code not found! So Day Zero is a big ZERO. Prepay, get it day one, trust us, itll be worth it. Zero stars.

 

Dont worry looks like were all having the same issue. Servers are full. Have to wait until they fix the issue. I know it sucks. I thought it was just me and my code. Its a heck load of people experiencing this issue.

 

"Day Zero edition available November 3rd" is what they advertise. They need to give us something.

 

Wow! I finally got someone from xbox to call me back!

He said they don't know of any sort of compensation, credit, or anything that customers like me who paid $480 for Day Zero and weren't able to use it. He told me to contact Activision. I asked if it was Activision's servers that were the problem, and he
just said that he didn't know, they don't tell him that stuff.

This whole thing is a joke. I hope Amazon.com lets me return this so I can get a PS4.

 

Can anyone confirm whether there's been a fix at all? I'm having the same issue.

I spoke to an agent in the activision chat.. wish I would have took a screenshot before I closed it... basically he just said whats your issue, I told him.. he was like well let me try and help you.. whats your gamertag, console and email... I answered him
and he ended chat just like that with nothing else... I'm currently in the queue with Activision's phone customer service... been in this queue for about an hour and it says I've got another hour or two to go.. 99 more people ahead of me.. Anyway I'm extremely
frustrated as I'm sure all of you are. I will post if I get any more info from them as I plan on staying on the line until I get someone, tho they close in about an hour so who knows if they'll just hang up on everyone on hold..

I will not be happy once this is fixed, I want compensation for my time and the bs line that this is a "day zero" purchase. I've been through MMO launches, console launches and whatnot before, but this is maddening by comparison. There is NO excuse good
enough for the downtime, and we REQUIRE compensation.

 

I agree.. you don't base your entire pre-order around exclusive 24 hour pre release access and then have a large portion of those gamers stuck with broken code stuff. I blame the digital content junk.. I highly doubt we'll see any sort of compensation for
it tho. But if they'd like to start taking suggestion I'd go ahead and say give all of us with this problem a season pass for DLC.

 

Season Pass, Free copy of Ghosts (or equal value in the store if you already have it)... something.

We need to be acknowledged that we were left behind. This may be my last console purchase ever, nevermind Microsoft. I never have this problem on PC. :/

 

My biggest issue with this entire thing is the fact that I type "We couldn't find your code Try again in a while, or contact your code provider for more info" into google, search on xbox's website as well as activisions and I don't get anything at all. I've
been told that they're aware of the issue when I spoke to someone at xbox live but I shouldn't have to wait on hold for an hour to find it out. There is absolutely no official information about this at all available on the internet. There are some things related
like "lost code" or "code in use" but not what we are experiencing. I would feel much better if they actually posted something easily found telling me not to worry and what I should expect so I don't have to sit here in queue's trying to find some answers.
Yes, I'm confident that I'll get this resolved... Not even really that worried about how long it will take to be resolved. I just want some answers

 

Don't count on Activision to account for this, they just pointed me to the XBOX Live status page as if that was supposed to mean something, what a joke.
