This game needs a sandbox mode!

I really want to be able to have fun with the weapons and vehicles without dealing with missions and a time limit. Deadrising 2: Off the Record had a sandbox mode and it was great! What could be better than playing co-op in the large open city doing whatever
you wanted for as long as you wanted? Fighting psychopaths, being attacked by survivors, and enjoying all the mindless zombie slaughter you can handle!

I think I need to go into the sandbox mode and have a play so I can try and suss it all out.

There’s a decent game in there, let down by cheating AI.

Do you need to play the timed mode before this mode opens up?

I really liked DR2 but found the timers really annoying after a while,might pick up off the record if i can play right from the start with no timers.

Nope, I'm pretty sure sandbox mode is open straight away, when you go to load a game you choose whether you wanna load story or sandbox, it shares stats/levelling/etc with story mode, so if story gets too tricky you can hop into sandbox to level up a bit
more and unlock new moves/combo cards, etc.

 

I feel the same way. Theirs always that overtime mode but I would like to play during the daylight.

 

True, I used overtime to collect the rest of the weapon blueprints. Forgot it's infinite night cycle then. Not to mention the zombies are more aggressive at night.

 

Hmm...This would be great for attempting to complete all the PP trials. Even better if it would effect the Untold Stories as well. I really don't want to play through Fallen Angel again (hideous add on) but I want my achievements.

 

Just got finished with ending C. Think I will start the game over and instead of doing the main mission, I'm going to try and find all the collectible and weapon blueprints and kill as many zombies as possible.
