This game is MASSIVE.

I was positively dumbstruck by the sheer seamless scale and beauty of this game. So, to put it in proper perspective for those who don't have as much time to waste as me, I traveled from Pagan Min's Fortress in Northern Kyrat to De Pleur's Compound at the
southern tip of the map; arguably the two points farthest away from each other...

First, I traveled by air, which takes about 8 minutes, flying in the straightest line possible between the two points.

Next, I took a vehicle. Following the highlighted GPS route with the pedal to the metal, it will take approximately 13-15 minutes.

Lastly, in a fit of pure insanity, I struck out on foot... At a dead sprint, roughly following the GPS route and with zero distractions, it will take around 30-40 minutes to reach your destination.

The term 'Open WORLD' is quite impressively literal here.

Hi Mac,

I've played Battlefield 3 perfectly fine on the XBOX 360 using the beta dashboard. The only issue anyone would encounter is playing the Armored Kill maps as they are very large it causes a bit of frame lag from time to time but it's greatly reduced by having
the game discs installed to your consoles hard drive. Not quite sure why your getting rubber banding but it doesn't seem to be anything with the beta update causing it.

Are you encountering these frame drops in all maps (try close quarters map's as a test)?

Have you tried multiple servers that are showing a good connection to you?

Do you encounter this issue with any other games besides Battlefield 3? If you haven't checked, please do as it can help narrow down some things.

Yes Games on Demand is a massive rip off, which is why I've never bought a game for full price. All about the sales (or steam which is usually massively cheaper)!
