Did you tried checking the Xbox PC app?
You can install gaming services from there as well

When you open the Xbox application a blue notification with the following message is going to appear at the bottom:
"This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install"

Select Install to reinstall Gaming Services, once installed check again

Let me know if you’re able to install gaming services in that way

Usually when you uninstall gaming services via powershell command :

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Once you restart the PC and open the the Xbox application. A blue banner with the following message appears: "This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install"

If you try that, Xbox app doesn't show you the message?

Gaming services are needed to play most of the Microsoft Store games. They're not related to Xbox consoles.

Try this to reinstall the gaming services again:

Restart the PC and Open the Xbox application.



A blue notification with the following message is going to appear at the bottom:

"This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install"

Select Install to reinstall Gaming Services, once installed check again.

If that doesn't work:

Press Windows key + X and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

Type or copy / past the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page, and then select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Multiplayer is a component of the games themselves. You need to load up a game that allows more than one player and turn on a second controller (you may be required to sign the controller in as a guest or even as an additional profile). If you are wanting
to play multiplayer across Xbox LIVE, you'll need a paid gold subscription.

I have windows 11, I had deleted the cache files for the game from the xbox app itself. I had an option to delete app data, which I cannot see for cricket 2022 now. It was available for Forza Horizon 5 though.

I ran the above command, restarted the pc, but did not get the "This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install" notification. Now Cricket 2022 is also not under my installed games.
