Thinking of pre-ordering ESO but have a couple of questions

Hi guys & gals.

After playing the witcher and a bit of neverwinter (going to delete off my XBO), I would love to pick up an RPG or MMORPG that I create my own character and do what I want. From what I can find online, Elder Scrolls online is great for this; however, I do
have a question or two...

BTW, I do know the game isn't out yet, but I imagine some are playing the gone on the PC right now.

a) how much solo content is there? don't have much online friends so i'm hoping I can do a great deal solo. don't get me wrong, I am hoping to do some group stuff. But it probably be with pug groups.

b) will it be easy to join pug groups if I want to run dungeons or instances?

Any other advice or suggestions would be great as well.

Pre-order Question

I am thinking of pre-ordering Mad Max on xbox one console but I was wondering if I can use pre paid card or does it have to be with credit card only

 

XBOX One pre-order from Microsoft UK

Thinking of pre-ordering one from Microsoft as it looks like they are the only ones left with availability

Question is, will it likely arrive on launch day, as I usually order from online retailers like Game Amazon etc, but as all I can find is sold out everywhere, thought I might give them a try

They say they have a warehouse in the UK which sounds promising, and I suppose I have nothing to lose by pre-ordering, but just wondered if any of you have had any experience when buying directly from Microsoft

Hey Major, there is plenty of solo content in this game for you. With that being said joining pug groups over Xbox one has gotten significantly easier in 2015. Most games now have Apps you can download from your providers App store.

My number one suggestion if you're looking for people to play with is check out a guild and maybe try to join with one of them. If not you can add me on xbox and you can come play with me and my mates. GL!

 

Thanks for the response Daniel. After the Destiny fiasco of not able to join any groups or guilds (was in one but gave up on the game since I couldn't do much). I'm a bit leery of join any guilds. But I am glad joining pug groups will be easier (never played
the PC version).

Also, I may be just a casual player since I work nights, which is another reason why I'm not sure if I should buy this game or not.

 

a) Yes, lots

b) and..yes, at least on PC there was, very easy. I'd say Pugs run most the delving world, the inclusion of the Undaunted storyline, if you will (not much story, but full on dungeon delving) facilitates this way of play, greatly.

 

Thanks Efeliel, Now I'm really close to pulling the trigger and pre-ordering the game.

 

A - a ton...almost too much

B- yes there is a grouping tool for al dungeons, and even zone based if you want to group up with ppl outside of dungeons or just invite ppl as you see each other in passing

 

They fixed the grouping system drastically compared to how it was at launch on pc. Hoping they have it work properly. PC had so many issues such as all players not being able to grab the boss loot drop or only half the group having the kill count towards
progress. However they did fix this. I do plan on making a brand new character though and not carry over the pc character I had

 

The grouping tool is fine on PC and they even made some tweak inthe patch today.

The problem with PC is that so many people try to use zone chat and other stuff to work around the games systems.

its kinda sad but I'm anxious to jump on Xbox One and play this after playing the beta on Xbox.

its was so much better even compared to the current PC version. A lot of love and polish was put on the consoles that will cause the PC crowd to envy.
